I graduated in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology within the College of Inter-Area Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences (MISH) at the University of Warsaw. In my Master’s research I explored genocide commemoration and remembrance in contemporary Armenia. Mine main focus was post-memory of Armenian Genocide.
Later on my research interests moved toward man-nature relations, the bodily experience and perception of the environment as well as the social dimensions of climate change. In order to understand it better I took up post-graduate studies in Environmental Protection at the Faculty of Biology, at the University of Warsaw. I am currently doing my PhD at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences of the University of Warsaw and working within the project “Embodying climate change. Transdisciplinary research on urban overheating”.
