100th anniversary of Ethnology.
2019 was the 100th anniversary of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the presence of ethnology at the university in Poznań. In connection with this we were preparing for a great celebration. It took place as part of the 100th anniversary week from 8 to 14 April 2019. We started with a nationwide conference on the achievements of Poznan ethnology and the challenges of today (8-9 April). In the following days, in the urban space of Poznań for a wide audience, we presented our discipline through the works of students, graduates and employees of our Institute. We invited, among others, to a screening of documentary films from our archives (11 April, Kino Pałacowe). The 100th anniversary week culminated with a jubilee reunion of graduates of Ethnology, including an official part and an evening social gathering (13 April). At the end, an original programme was presented by the world folk music star Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa, which played in the Grand Hall of CK Zamek (14 April)..
