Year Supervisors for the 2022/2023 academic year
The year supervisor oversees the conduct and progress of the teaching process of students:
- provides information on the regulations, organisation and programme of studies at UAM, enrolment in the USOS system and social rights of students
- facilitates and guides the development of students’ scientific interests, accepts optional courses selected by the student (applies to the 3rd year of SL)
- gathers information on the student’s living conditions and gives opinions on the student’s applications concerning social matters
- participates, in an advisory capacity, in the student’s final course tests and examinations and in any disciplinary proceedings.
Additionally, the duties of the year supervisor include organizing an integration meeting in the first month of the year supervisor’s care, maintaining constant contact with the year head and participating in the discharge of his/her year (applies to SUM II year).

All years elect their President, who is the best and fastest informed person of the year. His / her main tasks include:
- representing the interests of the year and acting on its behalf in various matters concerning the organisation of the course of study (e.g. reporting to the lecturer, later to the year supervisor, the absence of grade entries in USOS),
- keeping in constant contact with the year supervisor, the dean’s office, lecturers and other seniors to improve communication,
- responsibility for group renewal of student ID cards,
- informing your group about the procedures for dealing with matters in the Dean’s office,
- contact and cooperation with the Student Council in order to organize the discharge (applies to SUM II year)
