In their first year of study students need to take four out of nine Creole Thematic Modules on offer (for example: 1 course in first semester and 3 courses in the second or 2 courses in each semester, etc.). Taking four CTM courses is obligatory, but students can choose to enrol in more than four modules if they wish so.

PLEASE NOTE
1. First year CREOLE students should take four out of nine CREOLE Thematic Modules during the entire 1 st year of study. Thematic modules listed in the second-year class schedule is meant for exchange students coming from our partner universities abroad.
2. First year CREOLE students must participate in two Teaching Exchanges organized in the summer term with partner universities. Upon fulfilling the requirements, participating students will receive 2.5 ECTS credits for each.
3. All CREOLE students must participate in Intensive Programme 2021, organized online by University of Vienna and Adam Mickiewicz University on June 28th-July 2nd. Upon fulfilling the requirements, participating students will receive 10 ECTS credits.
4. Tuesday 11.00-12.30 slot is reserved for board meetings of faculty and non-academic staff. Students are welcome to meet with their course convenors during regular office hours, scheduled individually by each teacher. All students are welcome to participate in the Departmental Seminars.
5. Due to the COVID pandemic, all courses will be given online.
6. The Film in Anthropology classes take place every two weeks with the first class scheduled for Week 2 of the term (March 9th)
